There's no other confirmed survivors, but at least a few managing to hold out hiding in some cupboard somewhere isn't entirely implausible. * It's a big ship, with a ton of supplies & guns laying around. Individual cells, like the worms, might live on for quite some while, but the bigger organism is dead. driving a spike into somebody's heart/head.
